AJ Styles, one of the most phenomenal United States Champion in WWE history, is not yet booked for a title match at Clash of Champions. The following will predict three possible opponents for the United States Champion on a stage made for champions.

Ever since AJ Styles stepped foot onto the WWE main roster in 2016, SmackDown Live was his home. Now that he is officially a Raw superstar, he has been phenomenally impactful in every sense of the word.

He started off his time on Raw strong with a Universal Championship opportunity against Seth Rollins at MITB 2019. Although he lost that match and dealt with a minor injury for a month, he came back with a vengeance, reunited with Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson to form the O.C., and took Monday Night Raw by storm.

With this build up of momentum, AJ Styles turned heel on Ricochet with Gallows and Anderson won the United States Championship from Ricochet at Extreme Rules 2019. He then proceeded to retain his championship against Ricochet at SummerSlam, as well as against Braun Strowman on Monday Night Raw two weeks ago.

With Styles being heavily involved in the Universal Championship storyline between Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman as of late, he has not built up any feuds for his own United States Championship.

Considering that Clash of Champions is a PPV where every championship must be defended, the go-home show of Raw tonight should resolve any qualms of AJ Styles being on the PPV card.

Without further ado, let’s predict three possible opponents for AJ Styles at Clash of Champions.
