NXT closed its doors on full-time programming with the WWE Network Wednesday night. Their final hour ended with The Undisputed Era making another proclamation. This time it was to begin the era of the USA Network with all members holding gold and to continue their reign of dominance in NXT.

WWE NXT will start airing their syndicated television show on the USA Network on Wednesday Sept. 18. They also will begin showing two hours of programming each week as opposed to their usual one hour time slot on the WWE Network. Triple H has been lauded with praise for how he handles the black and gold brand. It starts with the one hour of weekly television and is followed up with five NXT Takeover specials each year. NXT Takeovers are praised by wrestling fans and those who pontificate Worldwide as compelling and fantastic specials.

With their move starting next Wednesday, there are many questions as to how NXT will fare on cable television. Examples being, how will they do on live t.v.? NXT shows on the WWE Network are usually taped on one night and broken into four hour increments each month. Live television is a different animal to conquer on a weekly basis.

Will Triple H continue to book his roster intelligently? NXT Takeovers have been sensational for a reason. They do a masterful job of making their top stars look incredible.  It is done through well thought out promos, vignettes and great booking. With 2 hours as opposed to 1 each week, can they continue to make the Johnny Gargano’s, Adam Cole’s and Io Shirai’s of the brand look like a million bucks on live television?

These questions remain to be seen. If the formula for success isn’t broken, why fix it?NXT has created an extremely successful model, don’t get me wrong. However, the formula isn’t perfect. I have come up with 3 ideas which NXT should use to be successful on the USA Network. Let’s check out said ideas in the upcoming slides.
