Becky Lynch and Roman Reigns are arguably the two biggest stars in WWE, and the 2K20 co-cover stars will also be working together in an animated film that sounds absolutely wacky.

WWE Superstars have been in some strange films. Remember that time Goldberg was a homicidal Santa Claus? Or how about that weird cop movie with Dolph Ziggler? (Then again, isn’t any movie with Ziggler in the lead role weird by definition?)

But THIS venture has potential. WWE have officially announced that their two biggest stars, Becky Lynch and Roman Reigns, will be starring in an animated film titled Rumble.

Yes, Rumble is about professional wrestling and will be produced by both WWE Studios and Paramount Animation.

Hearing Lynch and Reigns voice animated characters in the same movie is a treat in and of itself, but check out who else is involved: Tony Danza and Stephen A. Smith!

I can only imagine what memes could come of this. When Stephen A. is involved in something, you know a great GIF/video clip is about to be produced from it.

Jimmy Tatro, Ben Schwartz, and Michael Buffer are the other names advertised for this, but we all know that this is Becky’s and Roman’s show to run. Those two have ridiculous charisma, and while their characters in WWE are serious, they’ve shown time after time that they are also among the goofiest people on the roster (in a good way!) outside of their characters.

dark. Next. Is a match against Brock good for Kofi Kingston?

Basically, they are perfect for a strange animated movie about monsters being professional wrestlers. I mean, they aren’t short on experience in movies either, as Lynch is a key part of The Marine franchise right now, and Reigns recently did the Fast and Furious franchise’s Hobbs and Shaw with The Rock.

Per the announcement from WWE, we’ll have to wait until Summer 2020 for this movie to hit screens, but I’m sure it’ll be worth the wait.
