2. vs. Shelton Benjamin vs. Carlito – Intercontinental Championship – Vengeance 2006

This is the only multi-man match on this list and it certainly earned its spot. During his days as Johnny Nitro, he along with Shelton Benjamin and Carlito were all primed early on as three candidates who will represent the future of not only WWE, but the wrestling industry as a whole. When you watch a match like this from them, it’s easy to see why.

These three built a reputation on being the most agile WWE Superstars to ever grace the ring and when faced eye to eye with one another, magic was produced. Everyone had a reversal for practically every single move attempted in the ring and the pace of the match was high octane from the very start. It was every man for himself and the stakes felt as high as they could possibly be. Fans were glued to their seats for this one and it’s easy to keep raving about it nearly 15 years later.

This especially was a breakout moment for Morrison, who in the final electrifying minutes of this contest captured his first ever Intercontinental Championship win. He went on to win two more before leaving WWE in 2009.
