WWE fans react to Tamina returning, winning her first title
Tamina made her return to WWE at the Hell in a Cell Pay Per View, and she won her first title in the company. Twitter poured their hearts out to mark the occasion.
Carmella recently won the 24/7 Championship, switching the role of champion and assistant up on R-Truth, who has already shattered Ric Flair’s title record when counting up his reigns. The 24/7 Championship has been one of WWE’s (technically it was the USA Network’s idea) most ingenious innovations, as it’s basically an even better version of the Hardcore Title.
Well, we have a new 24/7 Champion, as Tamina made her return to WWE at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View to pin Carmella backstage and secure the prestigious championship. Now that Brock Lesnar has defiled the WWE Championship, the SmackDown and Raw Women’s Championships are probably the only more prestigious titles than the 24/7 championship.

Shockingly, even though Tamina has wrestled since 2010, this is her first championship victory in WWE. So there’s no doubt that this is a huge night in Tamina’s career. As such, Wrestling Twitter was “alongside” her to celebrate.
Auntie energy? That gives me “Team B.A.D” feels.
This is #good content.

Yes, give us the full photo gallery, WWE! Don’t be cowards! This is a huge moment!
Tamina’s 24/7 Championship victory at Hell in a Cell comes after she was absent from television since July 8, when she wrestled Natalya for the show Main Event.
Speaking of Natalya, she also had a match against Lacey Evans at Hell in a Cell, which was announced on Sunday before the show started. The women were stealing the PPV, between Tamina’s title win upon her return, the Match of the Year bout between Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks inside the cell, the turn-and-win from Kairi Sane and Asuka, Evans vs. Nattie, and the SmackDown Women’s Title rematch between Charlotte Flair and Bayley.
Even though Tamina lost the title to R-Truth later in the night, the reaction to Tamina’s win reminds us one thing: women’s wrestling keeps WWE alive. (Or something like that.)
