WWE Hell In A Cell 2019: Final Match Card Predictions
By Mark Justice
Becky Lynch (c) vs. Sasha Banks [Raw Women’s Championship: Hell In A Cell]
At Clash of Champions 2019, Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch’s championship match stole the show yet ended inconclusively with a disqualification victory for The Boss. Since Banks defeated Lynch but failed to capture the championship, she was automatically guaranteed a championship rematch to settle the score decisively at the next PPV in October, Hell in a Cell.
At Hell in a Cell 2019, they will take their rivalry to the next level. Banks and Lynch are two of the best superstars in the business, and their talent as well as their heart will shine through inside the ring. However, the true winner of this bout will have her aggressiveness and tenaciousness shine through inside the cell.
From a booking standpoint, Banks needs to unquestionably solidify her return to WWE as well as her abrupt heel turn with a championship victory. Imagine a top star returning to WWE after four months just to lose to Becky Lynch? That would be quite embarrassing.
From an insider’s standpoint, Becky Lynch has been rumored to get drafted to SmackDown in October, and it’s safe to say that she has done all she could with the Women’s Championship on Raw. Before she leaves the red brand, the best superstar for her to drop the championship to is definitely Sasha Banks.
Many would argue that Lynch should not to lose to anyone after defeating Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 35 in the first ever women’s main event. In order to counter that perceptive argument, Becky Lynch can be salvaged from looking weak in defeat if Bayley broke into the cell and helped Banks win the championship.
As a result, expect the reign of The Boss to finally commence. Hopefully, it will be an everlasting one as she attempts to fulfill her end goal of main eventing WrestleMania in the near future.
Prediction: Sasha Banks
Bayley (c) vs. Charlotte Flair [SmackDown Women’s Championship]
Also at Clash, Bayley defeated Charlotte Flair by exposing the steel on the corner turnbuckle and thrusting Charlotte’s face into the steel. This is just the beginning of Bayley cementing herself as a top heel in the WWE.
From a booking standpoint, Bayley should be a safe bet to retain her SmackDown Women’s Championship in order to solidify her heartwarming reunion with Sasha Banks. The Boss N’ Hug Connection as champions is best for business.
Bayley and Sasha’s loss on the go-home of SmackDown indicate their inevitable wins at this PPV. Lynch and Charlotte had their time to shine for the majority of 2018-2019, and it’s now time for Banks and Bayley to elevate their respective divisions.
Prediction: Bayley
