Seth Rollins (c) vs. Bray Wyatt [Universal Championship: Hell in a Cell]

During the last PPV, Clash, Seth Rollins slayed the monster to retain his Universal Championships. Hopefully, Rollins does not slay ‘The Fiend’ too.

Seth Rollins’ Universal Championship reign was not as exciting to experience as it was hyped up to be. It was pleasant to see Rollins slay the Beast at WrestleMania 35 because the WWE Universe was fed up with a part-time Universal Champion and wanted someone to execute stellar matches and killer segments for them every week.

When Seth Rollins was Intercontinental Champion, he did that for the WWE Universe and even more was expected of him when he became Universal Champion. Sadly, those expectations were not met as he decided to become the corporate ‘yes’ man that no one ever wants.

The trend of melding the face of the WWE into someone the WWE Universe cannot connect with is quite ironic. If the WWE wants good business, they should want the face of the WWE to connect with their audience, but they frequently fail to facilitate this connection.

Seth Rollins’ babyface momentum has significantly simmered in the eyes of the common viewer. He definitely needs a break from the title picture before he starts getting booed like Roman Reigns was booed for the past four years.

With the draft coming up, Rollins should drop the title to the hottest commodity in WWE sports entertainment today: Bray Wyatt. Albeit it’s quite early to put the championship on Wyatt, it’s never wrong to strike while the iron is hot.

From a booking standpoint, Wyatt needs to look unstoppable with his new gimmick. Losing to Rollins would ruin all of the momentum he gathered up in recent months.

From an insider’s standpoint, Lynch’s rumored draft to SmackDown could be a sign that Rollins also gets drafted to SmackDown. In fact, his match with Nakamura on the go home-show of Friday Night SmackDown Fox Premiere highlights how this rumored draft could be true.

With Lesnar as WWE Champion on SmackDown, it is very unlikely that Rollins would go to SmackDown with the Universal Championship. Henceforth, Rollins must drop the title to The Fiend with no questions asked before getting drafted.

Prediction: Bray Wyatt
