WWE: 4 reasons why fans were upset about Hell in a Cell

Sasha Loses
Let me say “the Boss versus the Man” itself was amazing, and a great match to kick off the PPV. I’m a huge fan of Becky Lynch, so I wasn’t overly upset by her win; however, there were many out there that are quite upset, especially with the momentum Banks had leading into the match.
While I continue to enjoy everything that The Man does, there are those who believe her gimmick is getting stale. A little bump in that road for Lynch’s story would’ve been Sasha snagging her championship last night (keeping it for more than one championship defense because this superstar needs that at this point), and the ladies could have continued their feud well into the winter, with Lynch winning back the championship before the year was over, or early 2020.
These two women have a ton of chemistry together, and a Lynch loss might have spiced things up even more for them.
Last-Minute Matches
I’m on the fence about this, because I feel that building up only a handful of matches allowed a deeper focus on the four major storylines heading into Hell in a Cell; however, it did feel a bit odd having bouts booked at the last minute for a PPV.
It created too much of a television feel.
I love you WWE, there’s no doubt about that. I’ve been a fan of yours for four decades now, and am thoroughly invested in the history of your stories. But in a time where competition is gearing up again, you need to be on your best game, and last night, you didn’t even come close to giving the WWE Universe what they really wanted.
