WWE: The Miz’s top three career defining moments
Today, The Miz turns 39-years old. To celebrate the former WWE Champion’s birthday, we decided to look back at some of the best moments in his career.
When The Miz first stepped into WWE fresh off the set of MTV’s The Real World, no one expected him to stick to the sport of professional wrestling for as long as he has. Little do some people know is that he always had a passion for this industry prior to even signing with the company. In fact, wrestling was practically all he ever talked about on The Real World.
He actually started training to be a wrestler at Ultimate Pro Wrestling’s Ultimate University in 2003, a whole year before entering WWE’s Tough Enough cast and offered an official contract. From there, everyone expected him to leave just as fast as he arrived and was unfortunately hazed by certain members of the locker room for being an “outsider.”
Despite all of this, The Miz was able to endure the challenges he was faced with and impressed enough big names backstage to becoming one of the company’s most endearing faces. Not only did he win the WWE Championship and become a Grand Slam Champion (winning every title possible under the company’s sun), but he’s become their go-to guy when it comes to media press runs and movie franchise releases. By keeping his nose clean and improving his craft every step of the way, The Miz has a job for life.
There’s a lot to praise when it comes to the future Hall of Famer’s career and to celebrate his accomplishments, let’s take a look at the most important, defining moments of his career.
