The WWE Draft will reportedly divide the rosters, making certain stars only eligible tonight or on Monday. Here, we look at the most valuable potential selections for tonight on SmackDown.
Yesterday, WWE revealed the official rules for the WWE Draft. On top of that, they announced WWE Draft Pools which have effectively split the rosters so that certain superstars are only eligible on one of the two draft days.
#SmackDown and #Raw are officially on the clock.

With a limited pool to choose from, who are the most valuable options that can be selected during Friday Night SmackDown by either brand? We’ll find out tonight which brand gets the first selection after Seth Rollins takes on Roman Reigns, but who is the favorite to be that pick regardless of which brand is making the call?
Before we get into tonight’s favorites, let’s look at the way the pools have been divided, keeping in mind that tag teams listed are considered only one draft pick. The following superstars will be eligible on Monday, meaning they won’t be an option tonight on SmackDown.
Draft-eligible during Raw: Universal Champion Seth Rollins, WWE Champion Brock Lesnar, SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair, Titus O’Neil, Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura (with Sami Zayn), Aleister Black, The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E & Xavier Woods), Daniel Bryan, Bayley, Luke Harper, Erick Rowan, The Miz, Ali, King Corbin, Elias, Raw Tag Team Champions Dolph Ziggler & Bobby Roode, Samoa Joe, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane), Rusev, Cedric Alexander, Rey Mysterio, R-Truth, Carmella, AOP (Akam & Rezar), Heavy Machinery (Tucker & Otis), Apollo Crews, Andrade, Liv Morgan, Jinder Mahal, Buddy Murphy, Mojo Rawley, No Way José, Dana Brooke, Shelton Benjamin, Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder, The IIconics (Billie Kay & Peyton Royce), Sarah Logan, Fire & Desire (Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville), Drake Maverick.
And on the other side of the coin, the following superstars will be eligible tonight and not on Monday.
Draft-eligible during SmackDown: Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, Roman Reigns, The O.C. (United States Champion AJ Styles, Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson), “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt, Drew McIntyre, Randy Orton, Sasha Banks, Ricochet, Braun Strowman, Bobby Lashley, Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross, Lacey Evans, The Viking Raiders (Erik & Ivar), SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Revival (Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder), Natalya, The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins), Lucha House Party (Kalisto, Gran Metalik, Lince Dorado), Cesaro, Kevin Owens, Humberto Carrillo, Akira Tozawa, Sin Cara, Eric Young, EC3, Chad Gable, Heath Slater, Drew Gulak, The B-Team (Bo Dallas & Curtis Axel), Tamina.
Now let’s look at the top ten most valuable names that can be picked tonight on SmackDown, starting at number ten.
10. The Street Profits
Coming in at the tenth slot on our big board are The Street Profits. The former NXT Tag Team Champions have a huge upside and have proven in recent weeks on Raw that they can make just about anything part of an entertaining segment.
9. Chad Gable
Next up we have Chad Gable, who came up just…short…in becoming the King of the Ring. Despite an overabundance of bad jokes made at his expense, Gable has shown himself capable in the ring and connected with the crowd in recent weeks.
8. SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Revival
You might think champions would be more of a priority here, but The Revival trickle down the list because we can’t be sure whether titles will move along with the team. If The Revival is drafted to Raw, would they still be SmackDown Tag Team Champions?
7. Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross
The former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions are a fantastic selection, as they’ll have the chance to bring those titles to their respective home brand. On top of that, both of these women are proven singles superstars, meaning they can be an asset to the women’s division in more than one way.
