Tyler Bate vs. Cameron Grimes

After a series of fast-paced, physical matches during the first hour and a half, Bates vs. Grimes started off as more of a technical showdown. Both Bate and Grimes exchange a series of armbars before things speed up as Bate gets Grimes on his shoulders to deliver an airplane spin.

Both wrestlers showed their athleticism in this match and Grimes keeps looking better and better including a Carolina Reaper move that’s pretty ridiculous. Eventually, both guys get their moves in and show a similar style that meshes well in the ring. At one point, Grimes tries to lift him up into an electric chair, but Bate counters with a hurricarana for a two-count.

Bate went for his rebound lariat, but Grimes countered with a Collision Course for a two-count. Bate eventually hits his lariat and sends Grimes to the outside hitting a taupe suicida. As Bate throws Grimes back into the ring, he spots Killian Dain in the crowd and hesitates for a moment. Bate climbs into the ring, but Grimes recovers for the Cave In and picks up the win.

Winner: Cameron Grimes

Dain jumps into the ring after the match and lays out Bate. Dain smashes Bate into the ring steps and tells Bate to tell Pete Dunne that they have unfinished business. This caps off another solid match as NXT heads into its main event for the evening.
