WWE fans react to Tommaso Ciampa pinning The Miz clean
This week’s episode of WWE SmackDown has started the build to Survivor Series perfectly, as Tommaso Ciampa made a huge statement on behalf of Team NXT by pinning The Miz cleanly.
Tommaso Ciampa became one of the best heels in wrestling as the WWE NXT Champion, and he showed off his mic skills in a promo on Miz TV before facing The Miz in a surprise one-on-one match on this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown on FOX.
Best of all, Ciampa won. While it’s not really a surprise that Ciampa, who is booked quite strongly on NXT, won against an established star who can afford to lose, it was still a huge statement-making win for the entire NXT roster.
Survivor Series is going to be awesome, huh?
WWE fans had plenty of positives thoughts and popped HUGE for Ciampa showing up, Ciampa insulting The Miz, and Ciampa winning the match.
