WWE fans go crazy for Shayna Baszler attacking Bayley

Shayna Baszler has been the WWE NXT Women’s Champion for more than a year, but she also has her eyes set on making SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley miserable in the build to Survivor Series.

WWE Survivor Series 2019 will be NXT vs. SmackDown vs. Raw, and since a lot of Superstars were not able to catch a flight from Saudi Arabia to Friday Night SmackDown on FOX, we knew that there would be plenty of appearances from NXT Superstars tonight.

But we sure as hell didn’t see this coming.

After Bayley retained the SmackDown Women’s Championship by defeating Nikki Cross, snagging a clutch assist from best friend Sasha Banks, she was attacked from behind by Shayna Baszler.

The Queen of Spades and Bayley are both heels, but nobody cares. We love fights, we love watching two of the best wrestlers on the planet going at it, and we’re #here for this all-out build to a Survivor Series that actually feels super exciting.

WWE fans lost their minds at Shayna’s surprise attack in the best way possible.

And they’re especially excited for the dream matches this could lead to, specifically a champion vs. champion vs. champion match at Survivor Series…

Another great point by my colleague and friend, Tom Colohue. Shayna has the MMA background that FOX loves, she’s a massive star in NXT, and she’s got the total package on the mic and in the ring. So yeah, she was meant to make some appearances on FOX – and probably get a call-up whenever someone finally beats her.
