WWE NXT: 4 potential wrestlers for the last Women’s WarGames spot
On the latest edition of WWE NXT television, it was announced that on Saturday, November 23rd in Chicago, there will be the first women’s’ WarGames match.
The two teams, consisting of five wrestlers to a side, are likely almost all set. The two captains will be Shayna Bayzler and Rhea Ripley. If the brawl that led to this match on WWE NXT was any indication, Bayzler’s team will probably be made up by Jessamyn Duke, Marina Shafir, Io Shirai, and Bianca Belair. Ripley’s team then likely consists of Candice LeRae, Tegan Nox, and Dakota Kai.
Women’s wrestling has broken down countless barriers. This will be the first time that the women have competed at a WarGames event. War Games will be a historic showdown between the top talents in the NXT women’s division.
The fifth member of Ripley’s team has essentially not been announced yet. There is plenty of speculation of who that fifth member will be. This omission leads some fans to believe that the announcement will be treated as a big event.

Deonna Purrazzo
One of NXT’s greatest strengths is their ability to consistently build new stars. Deonna Purrazzo is the next NXT star. She has not had the television time of other women’s wrestlers in NXT, but she is as talented as anyone on the NXT roster.
The announcement of the fifth member of Team Ripley can be treated as a launching pad to NXT stardom. Purrazzo as the fifth member gives her the instant credibility that will help her rise up the NXT ranks.
A strong outing in WarGames shows fans that Purrazzo is the next in a long line of talented women’s wrestlers.
The benefit to having Purrazzo in WarGames is, whatever she does in the ring can open doors to a feud down the road with Team Bayzler. She can begin a feud with Io Shirai or Bianca Belair due to the actions at WarGames.
Purrazzo has the opportunity to sink or swim in this role at WarGames. WarGames can be the moment where fans remember where they were when the rise of Purrazzo began.
It is a great way to introduce a new star in the most historic event of the year.
