IMPACT Wrestling on AXS TV: Results, Highlights and Grades for Nov. 5

The newest episode of IMPACT Wrestling on AXS TV is set to include Sami Callihan’s World Championship celebration, as well as Joey Ryan vs. Ken Shamrock.

Following a cold open video package where IMPACT World Champion Sami Callihan and Co. vow to take over everything while celebrating backstage with beer, IMPACT opens with Moose vs. Willie Mack. Moose locks in a headlock. Mack push into the ropes. Shoulder block by Moose. Leapfrog from Mack. Moose attempts a Rainmaker Discus before Mack hits lome lucha things. Moose drops to the outside before Mack suicide dives onto Moose. Both men down.

Mack up first. Rolls Moose back in the ring before attempt a series of corner clotheslines until Moose nails some dropkicks to stop the momentum. Moose keeps the heat on Mack until Mack kicks Moose away on a running corner clothesline attempt. He goes to the middle rope, but Moose hits him with his Go to Hell Spinebuster Powerbomb for a nearfall.

Moost picks Mack up, then slaps him in the face, which only fires Mack up. After some punches, Mack hulks up. Back and forth chops. Moose teases another chop, but pokes Mack in the eyes instead. He goes to run at Mack, but Mack hits a big boot.

Mack nails a Stunner, but Moose stays up. Another boot, then a fireman’s carry drop does the trick. Then a standing moonsault, but Moose kicks out.

On the top rope, Moost hits a superplex. Both men down. Moose struggles to make the cover, but suddenly kips up. Mack does the same. Runs at Moose only to be draped over the ropes. Moose hits a spear for the win.

Winner: Moose

Grade: B-

I expected a little more from this one. Hard to get into, but they just won me over in the end.

Alisha Edwards talks to a friend about her date with Ace Austin. On the way there, she overhears Austin bragging to his buddies and lying about “banging” Alisha to get payback at Eddie Edwards. “It’s like the shirt says … Austin 3:16 says I just banged your wife,” Ace adds to his friends before walking away. Alisha looks furious.

Afterwards, backstage, Madison Rayne and Taya Valkyrie (with Kiera Hogan stuck in the middle) trash talk each others outfits and blame each other for losing the tag match from last week. Rayne challenges Taya to a match, but Taya says she’s too busy with champion duties. She walks right into Jordynne Grace, who challenges Taya to a title match after pinning her last week, but Taya says she’ll be busy facing Madison Rayne tonight.
