The longest-reigning NXT United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne had to make the list! Dunne’s historic title reign of 685 days began after he successfully defeated Tyler Bates (the first-ever UK Champion) at NXT Takeover: Chicago.

This reign was not only an incredible milestone but Dunne, also known as the master of joint manipulation, ensured his reign was a true championship reign by gallantly facing any opponents who wanted to face him.

Dunne and Walter are no strangers, as Imperium (which is composed of Walter, Fabian Aichner,  Marcel Barthel, and Alexander Wolfe) and British Strong Style  (which is made up of Pete Dunne, Tyler Bates, and Trent Seven) have battled in the past.

This match was nothing short of extraordinary, as bodies flew everywhere, both inside and outside of the ring. This explosive match ended with Imperium as the victor, although it was a hard-fought battle on both ends.

The Austrian Anomaly, Walter actually defeated The Bruiserweight, Dunne, and ended his historic 685-day title reign. The two NXT UK Superstars had a rematch for the WWE NXT UK Championship where Walter was victorious in controversial fashion, receiving help from Imperium members Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel.

Controversial or not, Walter is still the current NXT UK Champion, but the way the match ended has to eat away at The Bruiserweight. Not only does Pete Dunne have a good argument for another title shot due to the unfavorable circumstances that occurred during the rematch, but this is a rematch the entire NXT Universe would love to see.

Walter vs. Pete Dunne in a Cage Match, to ensure there is no interference from Imperium or any other party, would be a match for the ages!
