The November 12th edition of Impact Wrestling sees Tessa Blanchard take on Sami Callihan in tag competition, as well as The North taking on Eddie Edwards & Marufuji.

Tonight’s episode of Impact Wrestling opens with a 6-Man X-Division contest to decide the number one contender for Ace Austin’s X-Division Championship.

With every man for himself, the participants included Willie Mack, Petey Williams, Trey Miguel, Rohit Raju, Brent Banks and Aiden Prince.

Okay, I won’t lie: this match was bananas. Too bananas. Literally, straight from the start, from bell to bell, there was literally too much action to keep up with. I know, terrible recap job on my part, but I tried my best to calculate what I saw when the match was not going five thousand miles per hour.

We saw a hurricanrana to the outside from Petey Williams. Willie Mack slaps the taste out of Petey’s mouth. Banks hits a gnarly poison rana on Mack. Mack was hitting dives and bulldozing clotheslines all over the place. Later on, Petey nearly wins it all with a Sharpshooter, but ultimately, Trey gets the upset victory. X-Division Champion Ace Austin (who was on commentary this whole time)

Winner: Trey

Grade: B

Action moved just a little too fast and was hard to keep up with, but when I knew what was going on, boy, was I invested. Fun stuff all around.

Backstage, Rich Swann is interviewed, where he acknowledges the fact that he is involved in next week’s elimination match to decide who will challenge Sami Callihan next for the Impact World Championship. Swann mentions his year long journey in Impact, but says he’s been wrestling for 10 years. He’s ready to prove all his doubters over the last decade wrong by not only winning next week’s match, but becoming a World Champion.

Immediately afterwards, Michael Elgin is interviewed by the same interviewer, asking for his response to Swann’s claim to a win next week. Elgin promises to win the elimination match himself and that no one is going to stop him from doing so.
