WWE NXT Power Rankings: Week of November 13, 2019
By Mark Justice
Whose stock is rising? Whose stock is falling? This week, WWE NXT had some key standouts as well as some key dropouts.
The following is WWE NXT’s weekly Power Rankings for the men’s and women’s divisions.
5. Mia Yim
Despite some much needed assistance from Dakota Kai, Mia Yim was incapable of winning the ladder match against Io Shirai to obtain an advantage for Rhea Ripley’s War Games Team. She looked pretty beat up after that ladder match. It will be interesting to see if she eventually gets replaced by Dakota Kai before NXT Takeover War Games due to ‘injury’.
4. Xia Li
Xia Li defeated Aliyah decisively with a spinning heel kick. That kick was executed with absolutely no remorse as she yearned to prove that she was worthy to be on Shayna Baszler’s War Games Team. Unfortunately, Baszler did not select her to be the last member of her team later on in the night.
3. Io Shirai
Io Shirai won a ladder match in the main event of NXT against Mia Yim in order to attain a War Games advantage for Shayna Baszler’s team. Although the victory was important, it was also nefarious.
2. NXT UK Champion Kay Lee Ray
NXT UK Champion Kay Lee Ray assisted Io Shirai in her ladder match victory by hurling Dakota Kai into the steel steps and pushing Mia Yim off the ladder. She may have also been the individual who attacked the remaining members of Team Ripley throughout the night. It looks like Kay Lee Ray could very well be the missing link to Shayna Baszler’s War Games Team.
1. SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley
SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley made a lasting impact to close the show with a striking chair shot to NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler. This successfully hyped up her future triple threat match with Lynch and Baszler at Survivor Series in two weeks.
