At WWE Survivor Series 2019, there will be a battle for brand supremacy the likes of which this particular event has never seen before when not only Raw and SmackDown are involved, but this time NXT will also be featured.

WWE Survivor Series 2019 will see Raw vs. SmackDown vs. NXT matchups for the first time, adding a dimension to the normal brand wars that the event has had for the past number of years when it was just the two biggest and longest-running brands in the WWE.

Needless to say, this has added some unique and anticipated matches featuring some of the most talented superstars the WWE has to offer. But which superstars need a win the most? Let’s take a look at the three superstars that need a win the most at WWE Survivor Series 2019.

3. Shinsuke Nakamura

Who could forget the major wave of momentum Shinsuke Nakamura was on during his first few months on the main roster in the WWE?  The King of Strong Style won the 2018 men’s Royal Rumble and spent a good portion of 2018 feuding for the WWE Championship, but it just never worked out.

After losing several title matches in a row, Nakamura struggled to find true main roster success, even with eventual reigns as United States and Intercontinental Champion. That’s where things stand with Nakamura at the moment with an Intercontinental Championship reign, but it’s easy to forget he even has the title due to his lack of focus on TV from week to week.

That can all change in a marquee match at Survivor Series.

The three current mid-card level champions on the WWE roster will square off in a Triple Threat Match at Survivor Series when it’s Intercontinental Champion Nakamura vs. U.S. Champion AJ Styles vs. NXT North American Champion Roderick Strong.

Many fans are dubbing this as a potential match of the night candidate and in typical Nakamura fashion, he’s seemingly the forgotten piece of this equation. That could work to his advantage, however.

Even though Styles and Strong seem like more realistic candidates to win this match, The King of Strong Style could benefit more from a win here. Styles will continue to do well with The O.C. and Strong will undoubtedly continue to tear it up in NXT, but Nakamura’s future is far more up in the air given how little focus he’s been getting. A big win here could set him up for much better things in the future with a clearer picture in terms of his creative direction.

It’s time for The King of Strong Style to get his first noteworthy win a quite a while on a big pay-per-view stage.
