WWE: 5 women who could possibly join Team NXT at Survivor Series
Dakota Kai
NXT made a storyline kerfuffle out of Dakota Kai trying her damnedest to be added to Rhea Ripley’s team for the War Games match the night before Survivor Series. Unfortunately for Kai, she just did not impress Ripley enough to make the cut. However, as something of a constellation prize, it’d make sense to add DA BIG DAWG (if you know, you know) to Team NXT. If she can’t help steer Team Ripley to victory, then representing NXT on PPV will have to be the next best thing for her.
Prior to all of this invasion nonsense, Dakota Kai returned to the ring a month ago from a torn ACL that she suffered back in December. In that time since and even the time before that, she proved to be a tremendous underdog character that the crowd find easy to root for. Kai had not the chance to showcase that underdog ability on her recent appearance on SmackDown, but perhaps this Sunday on PPV with larger eyes on her and NXT as a whole, that might be the best time to showcase what Kai can do.
In fact, since returning, rather than dive straight back into singles competition, she has had paired with a certain tag team partner on NXT TV. A tag team partner who also should make an appearance at Survivor Series.
