WWE NXT: Results, Highlights and Grades For November 20th, 2019
Adam Cole vs Dominik Dijakovic
Mauro Ranallo greets us and states that we are going to see not 1, but 2 War Games matches at NXT Takeover this Saturday night. Both the men’s and women’s War Games matches are hyped up by commentary.
We still don’t know who the 4th member of Tommaso Ciampa’s team will be? We can possibly find that out in the upcoming main event.
This ladder match will determine who’s team will have the opening advantage in the War Games match. Both men head to the ring. Adam Cole is put over by commentary. He has wrestled and scored victories against Daniel Bryan and Seth Rollins this month.
Cole jumps Dijakovic but Dominik rebounds with a series of forearms and a punishing clothesline. Dijakovic grabs the ladder on the outside but Cole counters with a baseball dropkick.
Dijakovic comes back and drops the ladder on Cole’s chest. Both men try to climb the ladder but are thwarted in their unsuccessful attempts. Cole wraps Dominik’s leg around the ring post and repeatedly slams it into the post.
Cole picks up the ladder and hits Dijakovic in the back with it. Cole sets up the ladder in the corner and tries to suplex him into the ladder. Dijakovic counters and drives Cole to the outside.
Cole pulls a 2nd ladder out and brings it into the ring. Both men tug of war with the 2nd ladder and Dijakovic sets it up in the corner. Dijakovic hits a spinning back elbow but Cole regains consciousness. He counters with a flipping suplex on the ladder.
Dijakovic hits Cole with a chokeslam onto the ladder in the corner that provides a sickening thud. Cole jumps off the ladder in the center of the ring and hits Dijakovic with the Panama sunrise. Cole climbs the ladder again and Dijakovic greets him.
Domimik Dijakovic picks up Adam Cole and hits with a backdrop into a knee. He climbs the ladder and Adam Cole meets him at the top. Cole hits Dijakovic with the briefcase from above and Dominik falls back first crashing onto the ladder below. OUCH!!
Cole unhooks the briefcase and wins the ladder match. Securing the advantage for his team at War Games.
Winner: Adam Cole
The Undisputed Era comes out to celebrate and is greeted by RAW and Smackdown superstars. A brawl ensues between dozens of members from each brand.
Drew McIntyre hits Domimik Dijakovic with a Claymore kick, knocking him out. Keith Lee approaches the ring and hits a pop up power bomb on McIntyre.
Keith Lee and Ivar hit running sentons onto all of the men from each brand on the outside! Adam Cole stands alone in the ring. Seth Rollins emerges out of nowhere and hits a superkick on Cole.

As Serh celebrates, Tommaso Ciampa’s music hits and he walks to the ring. Both Rollins and Ciampa stare each other down and trade blows as the show goes off the air.
Grade: A-
The match itself was very good. There is no question both Cole and Dijakovic are main event talents in NXT. The brawl afterwards was a lot of fun.
We were treated to a lot of star power tonight. Seeing Becky Lynch, Kairi Sane, Shinsuke Nakamura, Ricochet, Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins return to NXT was quite the surprise and made this a very fun show.
Overall grade: A-
All of the matches had good action and flow. The Undisputed Era vs Revival match was by far the bout of the evening. Becky Lynch and Rhea Ripley squaring off was also quite the spectacle.
All in all, this go home show was full of shock, awe and built towards the upcoming events this weekend. We will see what the landscape of NXT looks like after War Games and the Survivor Series.
