WWE Survivor Series 2019: Results, Highlights and Grades
By Mark Justice
WWE Survivor Series 2019 is live on November 24 at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on the WWE Network with the kickoff show beginning at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT. Here are some results, highlights, and grades for the PPV well known for brand supremacy.
Raw. Due to its longevity and plethora of main event caliber talent for almost thirty years, this brand has been well known as the ‘flagship show.’ With a 4-3 victory against SmackDown in Survivor Series 2017 and a clean sweep 6-0 victory against SmackDown in Survivor Series 2018, this brand looks forward to fulfilling a hat trick in tonight’s star-studded show as it is led by Charlotte Flair for the Women’s Survivor Series Team and Seth Rollins for the Men’s Survivor Series Team.
SmackDown. Due to being overlooked for two decades, this brand has been continuously referred to as the ‘B-show.’ With a huge chip on their shoulder and the new Fox deal in business, this brand has found itself on a redemptive streak as it is led by Sasha Banks for the Women’s Survivor Series Team and Roman Reigns for the men’s Survivor Series Team.
NXT. Due to its in-depth storytelling and outstanding in-ring performances, this brand promotes itself as the ‘No B.S. show.’ With its strong attraction towards hardcore wrestling fans and heated competition with AEW on Wednesday nights, this brand makes its official debut at Survivor Series and aims to prove to Raw and SmackDown that it is no longer the ‘rookie brand’ as it is led by Rhea Ripley for the Women’s Survivor Series Team and Tomasso Ciampa for the Men’s Survivor Series Team.
With that being said, the following matches are scheduled for the show thus far:
(1) Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Rey Mysterio for the WWE Championship
