Mansoor vs. Shane Thorne

Lock up to start. Headlock transition by Manny followed by a sort of Sliced Bread/Headlock combo, which I’ve never seen before. Thorne slams Manny in the corner to break it. Flurry of chops from both men until Mansoor gets a victory roll for a pin attempt, but right after a two count hits a moonsault.

He tries to capitalize with a suicide dive, but Thorne catches him and turns it into a side suplex on the outside. Two count back in the ring.

A modified full nelson by Thorne till Mansoor breaks out and hits a forearms smash, but Thorne is unphased as he hits another side suplex for another two count. He runs at Mansoor, but gets caught with an enzuigiri. Mansoor finally does a suicide dive, tosses him back in the ring, and hits a springboard neckbreaker for the win.

Grade: B-

Nothing too memorable, but I really enjoyed this for what it was. Big fan of both men.

Dakota Kai vs. Candice LeRae

Dakota Kai enters the ring with new music and Tegan Nox’s knee brace.

Fight to start. Candice drops Dakota Kai, followed by a senton. Dakota Kai recovers as she sets LeRae up on the apron for a kick to the side of the head, sending us to a commercial.

Back from break, Candice LeRae mounts a comeback with a series of chops. Launches herself into the corner, followed by a snapmare takedown, climbs to the middle rope, the hits a diving tornado DDT.

Kai goes for a hurricanrana, but Candice turns it into a sitout powerbomb. Attempts a Lionsault, but Dakota evades it to hit a Kairopractor for a nearfall. Series of close range kicks from Kai before putting her in a fireman’s carry position, that Candice turns into a rollup

LeRae transitions into a Garga-No-Escape. Kai tries to get to the ropes and in rolling over, breaks the hold. She runs to the outside. LeRae goes for a suicide dive, but gets whacked with Nox’s knee brace for the DQ. She continues slamming Candice into the ring steps and tossing her around ringside until Rhea Ripley makes the save. Kai goes to hit Candice with a chair, but Rhea runs in with a flying knee, flying the chair into Kai’s face. Kai goes running to the back as Rhea retrieves the chair.

In a backstage interview with Cathy Kelley, Ciampa says he dislikes the fact that Finn Balor is literally standing in his way of the NXT Championship.
