Sasha Banks and Bayley make their way to the ring

Banks says they didn’t come out for a “rah-rah speech” like we saw on Raw. She came out to say that if she actually got the chance to pick her team for Survivor Series, they would’ve beat Teams NXT and Raw with their eyes closed.

Bayley says they didn’t lose because NXT was better than them. They lost because the whole locker room let them down. Banks says the strongest leader is led by the weakest link, and the weakest link on Team SmackDown was everybody not named Sasha Banks. Both her and Bayley insult each member of the team until Lacey Evans comes out to respond to the insults.

Evans tells these two “classless things” that she’s in no mood after cooking Thanksgiving for 38 people. She says if the pair are going to blame everyone but themselves, then the locker room needs a “real woman” like herself to be its new locker room leader. A woman who won’t tap out under pressure, like Bayley did last Sunday. We then get a “Lacey Evans!” chant, right before she lays out Banks with a Woman’s Right and exits the ring.

Grade: A+

This really worked. Any segment that gets cheers for Lacey Evans of all people is an A+ segment with perfect execution in my book.

Daniel Bryan is interviewed backstage on if he’ll accept Bray’s challenge, when Bray suddenly hits the screen to talk to Huskus the Pig about the truth behind Thanksgiving. They then rap about being fat. Bryan still does not have an answer for Bray.

Nikki Cross vs. Sonya Deville

Before the bell, Mandy Rose grabs the mic to make fun of how Cross looks like a “cold plate of Thanksgiving leftovers.” After the bell, Cross angrily runs into a right hand from Deville and a series of knees. She gets a two count off a sliding knee. Deville locks a chin hold onto Cross. Cross turns it into a stunner for sorts, leading into a comeback spot.

She climbs to the top rope where she is distracted by Rose. Allowing Deville to throw her off, only to get rolled up to lose.

Fire and Desire attack after the match, but a returning Alexa Bliss runs in to make the save.

Winner: Nikki Cross

Grade: D+

This was not a good match at all. In fact, it really made Deville look like an idiot to be honest, after failing to get the victory after several distractions. However, the extra + is for the Bliss return. We all knew she was coming back this Sunday anyway so it was not a huge shocking return, but the crowd popped huge for it and that’s what matters. Plus, it’s just good to see Bliss back.

Backstage, The Miz says he is not Bryan’s friend or mentor, but he tries to tell Bryan how The Fiend changes everyone he wrestles. As tempting as a World Championship match could be, Bryan is “too important” to the SmackDown brand to lose. The brand can’t afford to lose him and neither can his family. Bryan doesn’t like his family being mentioned and Miz backs off.

Back from the break, backstage, Drake Maverick tries to kiss Dana Brooke under a mistletoe, but Brooke shoots him down, especially since he’s married. Instead, a returning Elias arrives out the shadows to serenade Brooke with his guitar.
