Usually, Roman Reigns, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, and John Cena are topping the merchandise charts in WWE, but The Fiend is now reportedly claiming the number one spot.

WWE fans have fallen head over heels for Bray Wyatt, even though The Fiend is literally the most feared man on SmackDown.

The current Universal Champion, Wyatt successfully defended his title, which now has a new look in The Fiend’s image, against Daniel Bryan at Survivor Series. But after dragging Bryan to the depths of hell and pulling out his hair after applying the Mandible Claw, it’s clear they’ll be on a collision course for an even bigger match at TLC.

Wyatt is so popular that, according to the Wrestling Observer News’s Dave Meltzer via Cageside’s Rumor Roundup, he is currently leading all WWE superstars in merchandise sales.

Maybe that’s why WWE is now selling Wyatt’s new custom title as a $6,500 pre-order. Hand-crafted by Tom Savini Studios or not, that is one extremely expensive Christmas gift from WWE Shop. I mean, how many suits, winter jackets, and XBOXes could you buy with $6,500? (The answer is a number higher than the number of great PPV matches Wyatt has had…sorry I like taking shots).

It’s awesome to see that Wyatt is topping the merchandise charts, because it shows that WWE can still organically get stars over big-time by applying the right gimmick. We saw Becky Lynch top the merchandise charts in late 2018 and early 2019 on her road to WrestleMania, and while Wyatt doesn’t have the staying power Lynch does, The Fiend is the hottest act in the Men’s Division right now. And as the custom title shows, WWE is intent on capitalizing.

Wyatt vs. Bryan is shaping up to be a defining feud to close out 2019, and all eyes will be peeled to the remainder of the build to their presumable match at TLC.
