Only WWE’s greatest faction can get Vince McMahon to randomly praise them

The New Day are the greatest faction in WWE, and nobody can argue otherwise, especially now that The Shield is disbanded. I mean, who else can get Vince McMahon to show up in a video with the tag titles?

There’s an old adage that Vince McMahon hates tag team wrestling in WWE. I have no idea if this is true or not, but it does seem like the tag teams get the shorter end of the stick in Pay Per Views and even on weekly programming.

But The New Day have made tag team wrestling a cornerstone of SmackDown Live ever since joining the Blue Brand after the first Superstar Shakeup in 2017. Big E, Xavier Woods, and former WWE Champion Kofi Kingston tear down the house whenever they are in the ring, and The New Day had another exceptional title defense on Nov. 29 against the seemingly new tag team of Shinsuke Nakamura and familiar foe Cesaro.

After their victory, New Day were in a celebratory mood (what else is new?)

And guess who showed up to give a nod of approval to the SmackDown Tag Team Champions?

Even big bad Vince McMahon can’t help but love The New Day and the Power of Positivity. Xavier Woods once got Stephanie McMahon to play a video game with him on UpUpDownDown, and now WWE’s greatest faction of all-time (yes, I’m upping my take from “eh” to “hot”) can say they got Vince to appear in a random backstage video with them after a successful tag title defense in an “Open Challenge”.

The New Day are truly special, and it was a cool moment to see Vince just pop up randomly to give Kingston, Woods, and E some due.

And all this talk about factions and The New Day’s dominance makes me REALLY want to see another faction war, especially one involving a dream match/feud between New Day and NXT’s Undisputed Era.
