Rusev vs. Bobby Lashley [Last Man Standing Match]
Lana cuts a promo about her hot boyfriend and how he is the gift that keeps on giving, unlike Rusev who did not value or appreciate her as the most Ravishing Russian in the world. Of course, Bobby Lashley agreed and he tells the WWE fans to shut up when Lana is speaking.
Lana then says that there will be no Last Man Standing Match since she had to file a restraining order against Rusev. The crowd chants Rusev Day and Lana says that Rusev Day is cancelled. Lana then claims that Lashley will gladly take the victory via forfeit.
The ref raises Lashley’s arm to make it official. Kevin Owens then comes out to interrupt and state that the show should not end with Lashley and Lana. Lana tells Owens to shut up, but Owens says he will continue to keep on #talking.
Kevin Owens states that Lana keeps ignoring her Russian accent that she had for five years and that everyone keeps ignoring their careers as a whole. Kevin Owens and Bobby Lashley then get ready for a match.
Owens delivers two superkicks to Lashley and a Cannon Ball. He attempts the Stunner, but Lashley rolls out of the ring. He chases after Lashley outside and delivers a front flip somersault to Lashley outside the ring. Lashley rolls back into the ring and baits Owens by tripping him off the apron and hurling him into the steel post.
Lashley tosses Owens back into the ring and takes control of Owens with a multitude of stomps. He then takes off his shirt and his ribs are still injured from Rusev’s attack on Raw. He then spears Owens at the corner turnbuckle and locks Owens in a chin lock.
Lashley then irish whips Owens into the corner and elbows him four times. He attempts the Vertical Suplex but Owens counters with a suplex of his own. Lashley then catches Owens and delivers an STO for the two-count. Owens attempts to rally back but Lashley delivers a kick to Owen’s gut and dumps him outside the ring.
Kevin Owens gets back into the ring at a count of 9 and dodges Lashley’s charge. He then goes on the top rope. Lashley stops Owens and attempts a superplex off the top rope. Owens counters with headbutts and Lashley falls to the mat. He then delivers a Senton. He goes on the top rope again and delivers a picture perfect Frog Splash for the two-count.
He attempts the Stunner, but Lashley counters and attempts a Swinging Neckbreaker. Owens counters that into the Stunner and pins Lashley, but Lana distracts the ref to stop the ref from counting to three. Lashley delivers a chokeslam to Owens for the two-count.
Lana gets the steel chair for Lashley to attack Lashley, but Rusev runs into the ring and attacks Lashley for a DQ finish.
Rusev attacks Lashley all around the arena in the crowd area, but Lashley side steps Rusev into the steel steps and grabs a kendo stick to whack Rusev in the ring. Rusev counters the attacks and whacks Lashley with the kendo stick. He breaks the kendo stick, grabs the chair, and whacks Lashley with the chair. He then Machka Kicks Lashley with the chair in his face to close the show.
Result: Bobby Lashley (by DQ)
Grade: 2.0/5.0 Stars
Analysis: This was quite facetious. Terrible way to end the show. On the bright side… oh wait… there is no bright side. This feud continues. Ugh.
