3. Guerillas of Destiny (Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa) v Chase Owens and Bad Luck Fale

As I mentioned before, I am a sucker for inter-faction matches and this specific match is no exception. However, it was completely different to the match between the Suzuki Gun teams. Going into G.O.D v Chase Owens and Bad Luck Fale, nobody really knew what to expect. Would it be fair? Would it be brutal? Would Chase and Fale let the tag champs win? The answer is none of the above.

Both teams had a great combination of talent with Chase and Tama being the more athletic and Fale and Tanga Loa with the strength of the team.

We started with a friendly two sweet and Chase and Tama took to the ring in a traditional lock up and exchanges. Both guys seemed to really appreciate the other’s talent. However, this sportsmanship didn’t last long. With Jado on the outside hell bent on leading G.O.D to victory and no way to avoid the sneaky tactics the faction was built on, it got really competitive once the two powerhouses entered the ring. Fale sat on Tanga Loa, both teams faked out each other and things changed pace very quickly.

What made me laugh, was halfway through the match when Tama Tonga decided to try and pull one on Bad Luck Fale by kicking him in the back; bad choice. This led to Fale chasing Tama Tonga around the arena whilst screaming like a little girl. Tama tried every trick in the book from trying to blend into the crowd, throwing merch at the big man and attempting to block Fale with barricades.

In the end, Tanga Loa submitted Chase Owens with his new submission and all was well again in the Bullet Club camp. Even if Chase Owen’s shoulder was hurt. A two sweet ended it all and the faction was stronger than ever. Sometimes brothers fight and it only makes them a better team!
