Men’s Tag Team Power Rankings

Raw Tag Team Champions: The Viking Raiders

SmackDown Tag Team Champions: The New Day

NXT Tag Team Champions: Undisputed Era

The Revival may have lost the straps, but that hasn’t stopped them from staying Top Guys. After a competitive match against The Undisputed Era, they had the opportunity to become #1 contenders for the SmackDown TagTeam Championships. They were successful in the four-way match up and looked dominant as they eliminated the final two teams. So, now it is The Revival vs The New Day at TLC.

AOP has been talking about how violent they are for quite some time, and now they started to show it. After Survivor Series, they relentlessly attacked Kevin Owens, and then did so again the following week. Clearly, these monsters are looking for more than just beat downs, so the Raw Tag Team Championships could be in their sights in the near future.

The OC won the “Best Tag Team In The World” gauntlet match in Saudi Arabia, and with AJ Styles in their corner, they have been able to live up to the moniker. They gave The Viking Raiders their first loss on the main roster, and could be looking to do the same again, but with the titles on the line this time.

Heavy Machinery may have lost the #1 Contender match on SmackDown this week, but they were able to lose in fashion. They eliminated the Lucha House Party and got a lot of offense in before being eliminated via roll up. They look to get back on track next week and should have no problem doing so.

Outside of Undisputed Era, the NXT Tag Team Division, is VERY slim. I mean, The Forgotton Sons are the only ones that get consistent TV time, but they are at least making the most of it with dominant victories over enhancement talent.

The Street Profits have some significant wins on Raw, but the only problem is that, in recent weeks, they haven’t competed in the ring. They may want the smoke, but right now, no one is giving them any.

Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler may have both lost to Roman Reigns, but they were the winners of the Survivor Series pre-show battle royal and have maintained a position in the main event scene on SmackDown, so they are currently treading water in the rankings right now.

Shorty G and Mustafa Ali won a match against Roode and Ziggler before Survivor Series and had a strong showing in the #1 Contenders match on SmackDown, but it still isn’t clear if this makeshift tag team is here to stay or if they will go their separate ways after the loss. So, they are only at the 8 spot but have potential to rise in quick fashion.

The tag division in WWE is incredibly thin, so Lucha House Party sneaks onto the list solely because they have managed to get consistent air time.

Imperium is the most dominant faction in NXT UK and have made a few appearances on NXT, but it is still yet to be seen if they will be apart of the NXT on USA brand going forward.
