Becky Lynch looks poised to hold the WWE Raw Women’s Championship into WrestleMania 36, and fans have zeroed in on two marquee opponents for the top star.

WWE fans are anticipating an amazing Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match for the Women’s Tag Team Titles between the Kabuki Warriors and CharLynch at TLC, and they’re just as excited at the prospect of this match creating a second Royal Rumble title match between Asuka and Becky Lynch in January.

Becky still has to get revenge on Asuka after losing to her at last year’s Rumble Pay Per View, tapping out to a version of “Cattle Mutilation”. And if she does, she can move on to her WrestleMania 36 challenge for the Raw Women’s Championship.

If Ronda Rousey returns, Becky and Ronda would be the expected match. But there have also been rumblings that WWE will call up NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler, with fans speculating she could drop the title to rising star Rhea Ripley on the Dec. 18 episode of NXT to set up a future Royal Rumble win. That Rumble victory would give her a shot at Becky’s title.

According to the Wrestling Observer News’ Dave Meltzer, there have been rumblings of a WrestleMania match between Baszler and Lynch, though WWE wanted to keep The Queen of Spades in NXT to help the brand maintain its star power.

But Baszler and Lynch were awesome in the build to Survivor Series, competing in a champion vs. champion vs. champion match that also involved SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley. Baszler won the match, but she didn’t beat Becky, who would later put the former MMA star through a table.

WrestlingNews.Co’s Paul Davis wrote he’s heard WWE will book Baszler vs. Lynch at WrestleMania if Rousey does not return to build for a highly-anticipated one-on-one title match against Lynch.

Although Rousey is the bigger name and WWE’s ideal option, most wrestling fans would prefer an all-out barnburner between Lynch and Baszler, who has become one of the most respected wrestlers in the company by the fans. They cannot get enough of Baszler’s heel work to build matches and her incredible story-telling inside the ring.

Baszler vs. Lynch would be a dream match at WrestleMania for the Raw Women’s Championship, but it looks like it’ll only happen if Rousey wants to spend more time enjoying life outside the ring.
