Fans are in for a holiday treat in regards to the WWE TLC 2019 card, but one match stands out as a potential show stealer: Aleister Black vs. Buddy Murphy.

Despite most of this Pay-Per-View’s card being formulated within the last 10 days, WWE TLC 2019 offers an electric card worthy of closing out the year. Matches like Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch vs. The Kabuki Warriors in a TLC match, a Viking Raiders open challenge, and Bray Wyatt vs. The Miz round out a stellar card.

However, there is one match which I feel like has the potential to steal the show without needing to feature a single table, ladder, or chair. That match pits none other than Aleister Black against Buddy Murphy.

In many ways, Aleister Black vs. Buddy Murphy is a bonafide dream match that many fans have been looking forward to for quite some time now. In fact, people like Brett Grega practically begged to see these two duke it out ever since The Dutch Destroyer introduced the concept of door knocking.

Since the tail end of last Spring, Black has received his matches by demanding that someone knock on his door and “pick a fight” with him face to face. Deep down, a lot of us were keeping our fingers crossed wishing that the next man to pick a fight with the former NXT Champion was Buddy Murphy.

And on the Nov. 18 episode of Raw, we finally got our wish.

In the time since then, their eventual match was hyped up by both men plowing through their respective opponents with ease and, on one occasion, scuffle with each other briefly.

The anticipation certainly is there. Now, the question is will they deliver? Which, let’s face it, that shouldn’t even be a question.

In their still early, yet blossoming WWE careers, both men have delivered tremendous performances. In many ways, 2019 served as a breakout year for both men.

Murphy offered the second half of his Cruiserweight Championship reign in the first part of the year before briefly moving on to SmackDown, being showcased in memorable matches against Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan.

Black, meanwhile, has remained undefeated in singles competition and never so much as being pinned or submitted since being called up from NXT. Not to mention, while failing to capture the SmackDown Tag Titles with Ricochet, he did have his presence known at WrestleMania in what was arguably a show stealing contest in its own right.

We’ve seen what these two men can do in the past, especially when given the opportunity to spotlight themselves. As previously mentioned, Murphy showed out in matches with Bryan and Reigns. Black showed out himself in a match against Cesaro for his first PPV singles match.

Both men are no strangers to delivering awe inspiring, show stealing performance. You put these two together, not only could it lead to a wrestling clinic, but it could offer a late Match of the Year candidate.
