The New Day (c) vs. The Revival [SmackDown Tag Team Championships: Ladder Match]

Kofi Kingston and Big E enter the ring. Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder enter the ring. The SmackDown Tag Team Championships are suspended approximately twenty feet above the ring. WWE TLC 2019 is officially underway with a potential show-stealing match. This is The Revival’s first ladder match in the WWE, so it’ll be interesting to see if their lack of experience in ladder matches will play a factor here.

All four men stare off as this match begins torando style with a flurry of punches. Dawson and Wilder irish whip Kingston and Big E, but Kingston and Big E counter it into Irish Whips of their own and deliver double elbow strikes and double team shoot kicks and splashes to Dawson as Wilder rolls out of the ring.

Kingston and Big E then roll out of the ring to grab ladders, but Dawson and Wilder stop them with some kicks to their heads and grab ladders. As soon as they approach the ring, Big E stops Dawson by pushing him into the steel post and tossing him over the announce table. Kingston stops Wilder by smashing his head into the ladder near the steel steps.

Dawson rallies back and hurls Big E into the steel steps. He runs around the ring to help Wilder team up on Kingston and slam him into a group of ladder. They toss Kingston back into the ring but Kingston counters with a monkey flip and attempts to dropkick both Dawson and Wilder.

However, Revival countered with a ladder strike to his knees. Dawson and Wilder attempt to strike Kingston with the ladder again, but Kingston again counters with a monkey flip and springboards off the ropes to take out both Dawson and Wilder on the ladder.

Big E comes in to help Kingston get a ladder in the ring. Dawswon and Wilder stop Kingston and slam him into the pile of ladders outside. Big E takes control, tosses Dawson into the pile of ladders, and places Wilder on the ladder for the Big Splash, but Dawson comes to the rescue and pulls Wilder out of the danger zone and allows Big E to splash his abdomen onto the ladder.

Kingston attempts to hit a flying plancha off the top rope but Revival catches him and slams his knees on the ladder. The Revival climb the ladder to capture the championships, but Big E runs to deliver a Belly to Belly Splash to Dawson. He then climbs the ladder with Wilder, but Dawson goes on the top rope and delivers a missile dropkick from the top rope to force Big E to fall to the floor.

Big E rolls to the corner turnbuckle with his legs open. The Revival put the ladder in between his legs and dropkick him. They deliver a back suplex to Big E onto the ladder. Kingston runs into the ring and The Revival attempts to deliver the same to Kingston, but Kingston counters with an innovative monkey flip ladder strike to Dawson and Wilder.

Big E locks Dawson in the Brock Lock. Wilder attempts to stop it, but Kingston tosses Wilder outside the ring. Big E and Kingston then set up the ladder to retrieve the championships. Kingston climbs the ladder while Big E supports, but The Revival runs in to toss Big E outside the ring and shove the ladder to drop Kingston.

Kingston maintains his balance on the rope and counters the ladder drop with a Torando DDT to Dawson and a Trouble in Paradise to Wilder. The former WWE Champion is on fire and the crowd is chanting his name with admiration. Kingston climbs the ladder, but Revival delivers a Shatter Machine to Kingston. They then climb the ladder, but Big E runs in to stop Wilder and Spear him outside the ring.

Big E grabs a second ladder and places it aside the ladder already in the ring. He drives Dawson’s head into one of the ladders. He gets a third ladder outside the ring and into the ring as a bridge from the corner turnbuckle to one of the ladders in the center of the ring.

He places Dawson on the bridged ladder and goes on the top rope but Wilder stops him and Dawson capitalizes with a Superplex through the Ladder. The ladder did not break, so Dawson puts Big E on the ladder and Wilder goes on the top rope to deliver a picture perfect Frog Splash on Big E through the table.

Crowd is chanting “This is Awesome!” Revival climb up the ladder for the championships. Kingston bungee jumps off the ropes to stop The Revival but they lock Kingston in a tree of woe on the ladder. Big E comes to the rescue and delivers a BIG ENDING on Wilder off the top of the ladder.

Dawson then attempts to grab the championships before Kingston wakes up from his tree of woe. Kingston got back up just in time, bashes Dawson’s face with the SmackDown Tag Team Championships suspended above the ring, and unhooks the championships for the victory and retention.
