Aleister Black vs. Buddy Murphy [Grudge Match]

Buddy Murphy enters the ring and poses like Aleister Black in the ring with his legs crossed. Aleister Black enters the ring and poses in front of Buddy Murphy, ready for battle.

The bell rings and Black instantly goes for a Black Mass Kick but Murphy counters by rolling outside the ring. They perform some ground based offense and approach a stalemate as their wrestling styles match each other so efficiently.

Black delivers an arm drag to Murphy and locks in the arm, but Murphy delivers a knee to the jaw in the corner. Murphy charges at Black, but Black counters with another arm drag and arm lock. Murphy counters with an elbow strike, but Black counters with two knee strikes.

Murphy rolls out of the ring and Black attempts a knee strike off the apron. Murphy grabs Black’s foot and slams Black’s head off the apron and into the steel steps. Murphy then tosses Black back into the ring and focuses on Black’s jaw.

Black tries to rally back with a fireman’s carry but Murphy counters with elbow strikes to Black’s jaw and an arm lock. Black tries to rally back again, but Murphy tosses Black over the top rope jaw first into the side apron. Black’s nose is bleeding, like a pig snout.

Murphy slams Black onto the announce table and grabs Black’s jacket to intimate him. Black gets back into the ring. Murphy tosses the jacket in Black’s face, but Black ducks and delivers a knee strike to Murphy for the two-count. It appears that Jerry “The King” Lawler caught the jacket with his face instead at the commentary table.

Murphy and Black have a knee and elbow strike frenzy. Black rallies back with a basement kick and Shining Wizard to Murphy. He proceeds to deliver a Black Moonsault from the side ropes to Murphy for the two count.

Murphy rolls out of the ring, and Black meets him on the apron. He delivers a knee strike and a Black Moonsault off the top rope to Murphy outside the ring. He then tosses Murphy back into the ring and delivers a jumping knee strike to Murphy for the two-count. He attempts his submission hold, but Murphy wiggles out of it.

Black shoves Murphy to the corner turnbuckle and places him on the top rope. Black delivers a knee strike and attempts a superplex, but Murphy wiggles out of it and counters with three Superkicks and a picture perfect Powerbomb for the two-count.

Buddy Murphy screams: You want to fight? He attempts the knee strike, but Black grabs his leg. Murphy retaliates and hits plenty of knee strikes and a Brainbuster for the two-count. Both men get up at opposite corner turnbuckles.

They perform a ton load of knee strike counters. Black then finds his opening and jacks the jaw of Buddy Murphy with a Black Mass for the three count. Lights out!

Result: Aleister Black

Grade: 3.0/5.0 Stars

Analysis: Solid match with plenty of knee strikes, as expected. It was tough for this match to come after a spectacular tag team ladder match, but this match still delivered. Now, Black awaits his next challenger. The camera then shifts to Rusev in a backstage interview with Charly Caruso. Caruso asks about his reactions to Bobby Lashley and Lana. Rusev claims that he is elated since he does not have to pay alimony and he feels like himself again as a single man because every day is Rusev Day.
