Rusev vs. Bobby Lashley (w/Lana) [Tables Match]
Bobby Lashley and Lana come out. Rusev comes out, looking ready for battle. Crowd chants “Rusev Day.’ Lashley goes outside the ring to console Lana, but Rusev is having none of it as he delivers a flurry of punches and a lariat to Lashley outside the ring. He shoves Lashley back into the ring and grabs a table, but Lana grabs the table and pulls it back outside the ring as Lashley takes control of Rusev with a clothesline and a powerslam.
Lashley tosses Rusev through the steel steps, but Rusev rallies back with a Suplex on the stage area and picks Lashley up in a fireman’s carry to crash him into the table. Lashley pushes the table down while in Rusev’s grasp and wiggles out of it to shove Rusev into the steel steps.
They get back into the ring and Lashley delivers a Spinebuster and a charging spear into Rusev’s mid section. He then sets up a table and slams Rusev’s head onto the turnbuckle. He lifts Rusev onto the top rope, but Rusev counters with a fireman’s carry and a clothesline outside the ring.
Rusev then goes to the stage area to pick up the steel guard rail and whack Lashley with it. Lashley comes back with a chokeslam to Rusev through the steel guard rail. Lashley gets a kendo stick and whacks Rusev with it as Lana laughs at Rusev.
Rusev retaliates with a shoot kick and grabs the kendo stick to whack at Lashley relentlessly. Lana jumps on Rusev’s back to distract Rusev and Lashley capitalizes with a spear to Rusev through the table but botches that since the table did not break. Lashley improvises and suplexes Rusev through another table on the opposite of the ring for the victory.
Result: Bobby Lashley
Grade: 2.5/5.0 Stars
Analysis: This tables match was not that exciting. Lana should have gotten involved in this match in a more impactful way. The botched finish did not help matters either. The camera then shifts to Street Profits giving advice to Bobby Lashley about his relationship with Lana in the backstage area. There is then a brawl amongst Roman Reigns, King Corbin, Dolph Ziggler, The Revival, and The New Day, and Street Profits get involved to even the numbers game.
