WWE fans haven’t seen The Usos compete since the July 29 episode of Raw, but Jimmy and Jey Uso are reportedly scheduled to return around the Royal Rumble.

The Usos have been one of the absolute best tag teams in the world since their memorable – and much-needed – heel turn on American Alpha in late 2016. But they haven’t been on WWE television since late July when they competed in a Triple Threat match for the Raw Tag Team Championships that was won by The O.C. (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson).

It shouldn’t be long before The Usos make their highly-anticipated return to Raw and win the titles. While Jimmy and Jey Uso are six-time tag team champions in WWE, they have yet to win the Raw Tag Team Titles,

According to Sportskeeda’s Tom Colohue, we can expect to see Jimmy and Jey back in the ring during Royal Rumble season. Since the Rumble takes place at Minute Maid Park on Jan. 26, they should be back in a month or so and will be gearing up for their third straight WrestleMania match.

Colohue had this to say in his TLC preview video:

"“The Usos are expected back soon, at least around Rumble time, in the push towards WrestleMania where they will undoubtedly have a presence given their name factor alone.”"

He explained that the duo are on “a limited-term contract” similar to Daniel Bryan’s, which explains why they have been off television for several months.

Hopefully WWE can keep The Usos’ return a surprise, since fans will go wild when their music hits. Not only do they have one of the best themes in WWE, but the hype factor when their music hits would be multiplied by a thousand due to the old adage, “absence makes the heart go fonder.”

The Usos have helped define the new era of tag team wrestling, and they could have dream title feuds on Raw with the likes of The O.C., The Authors of Pain, and The Viking Raiders in 2020. It’s great to hear that they’ll be due back soon, since the Raw Tag Titles need Jimmy and Jey for a proper build during WrestleMania season.
