WWE Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch has been at the summit of professional wrestling for more than a year, and the ratings for her documentary show how popular she still is.

Becky Lynch has been one of the most beloved superstars on the WWE main roster since making her debut in 2016 as SmackDown top woman to be drafted. She became the first SmackDown Women’s Champion, was an afterthought for almost two years, and then took matters into her own hands after turning on Charlotte Flair at SummerSlam 2018.

Since then, Becky has put on the Match of the Year with Charlotte, won the Royal Rumble, cut some of the best promos in the company, and won two titles in the first ever women’s main event at WrestleMania 35 against Ronda Rousey and Charlotte. And did I mention she was WWE’s top merchandise seller at one point? Oh, and she’s also on the cover of WWE 2K20 with long-time WrestleMania main eventer Roman Reigns.

Therefore, it comes as no surprise that lots of wrestling fans tuned into her WWE 24 special on the USA Network this Wednesday, which aired at 10 p.m. ET after NXT.

In fact, as EWrestlingNews.com’s Ryan Clark relays, 420,000 people tuned in to watch a documentary all about Becky.

To compare, NXT had 795,00 viewers and AEW Dynamite received 683,000 views, as per Forbes.com’s Alfred Konuwa, this week in primetime on TNT. So the fact that a documentary about Becky wasn’t far off from two wrestling shows in the ratings says a lot about her popularity as a babyface champion.

Sometimes, wrestlers fade in popularity during long title reigns. We’ve seen this with AJ Styles, for example. But Becky is coming up on nine months as Raw Women’s Champion, and fans still can’t get enough of a wrestler who rose to true superstardom over a year ago.

There are so many wrestling shows, such as WWE Backstage, that struggle to get 100,000 viewers. Granted, they are on smaller platforms than the USA Network, but, again, it’s still a big deal that this many people were interested in Becky’s WWE 24. It’s not a surprise either, considering the episode of “Straight Up Steve Austin” after Raw at 11 p.m. with Becky as a guest had over one million viewers. Becky truly moves the meter.

And if you haven’t seen it yet, you should. It’s awesome. WWE knock these features out of the park, and the one on Lynch is particularly moving.
