While reflecting on the current booking from WWE on Charlotte, Ric Flair had a lot to say about his daughter. Needless to say, he is not happy about it.

As some readers may recall, Corey Graves recently spoke in depth on his candid WWE Network approved podcast, After the Bell, about how the company has been booking her lately, specificially with her tag team run. Not only did he attest that she feels “less important” than usual, but suggested that Charlotte herself is bored in the role and just “going through the motions.”

When asked about Graves’ comments during an episode of WrestlingInc’s WINCLY podcast, Ric Flair had a lot to say about, while keeping it perfectly a buck, shared many of Graves’ criticisms about how his daughter is being booked right now.

While he’d rather be “left out of the equation” because he believes his daughter has surpassed him when it comes to in-ring talent (hard to argue with that one, to be quite honest), The Nature Boy did flat out say that he was not happy with how Charlotte Flair was being booked.

“I think they look at it and say, ‘Well, she’s like her dad. She’ll do anything we want her to do because she’s a pro,'” Ric said while theorizing why WWE have been booking the former 10-time Women’s Champion in the way that they have.

Ric Flair also added, “I don’t think she’ll ever be bored with her storylines and not participate at its fullest. That part is wrong on Corey’s part. But as far as her being the best athlete in the company, a Hall of Famer already, and being the biggest star of the women’s division, he’s spot on.”

For those out of the loop, since losing the SmackDown Women’s Championship to Bayley at the dawn of the WWE Draft and moving to Raw, The Queen has been out of the main title picture for the most part. Instead, she’s been tagging with different partners (first Natalya, then Becky Lynch) to assert herself in the women’s tag team division.

The change of pace has led to Charlotte suffering a string of losses to Kairi Sane and Asuka of the Kabuki Warriors.
