Sasha Banks vs. Bayley – NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn

When a Women’s Revolution truly first began to brew in WWE, it all started to first take shape on their NXT brand, but it truly did not reach its spark until that fateful night in Brooklyn. The Barclays Center was hosted to what is arguably the best women’s match to take place under the WWE banner and undoubtedly one of the best wrestling matches ever.

Sasha Banks and Bayley were able to tear the roof down in an instant classic that not only demanded a standing ovation from the crowd, but a curtain call from the company’s residing Horsewomen.

The moment of all four women standing united in the same ring signaled the beginning of a new age of women’s wrestling in WWE while also, in retrospect, highlighting the crop of women who deservingly would dominate their division for years to come. And have done so ever since.

Beyond just the significance of the match itself, it all felt like a feel good moment for fans following the story WWE was telling going into the match.

The story where after being pegged as the only Horsewomen not to win a championship or get called up to the roster, the Superstar overshadowed every step of the way, Bayley disproved her critics by finally winning the big one in grandiose fashion.
