WWE has been aiming to add a third podcast to its rotation, and Alexa Bliss is reportedly set to be the star of it.

Alexa Bliss has been one of WWE’s best talkers since emerging as a star – and the second SmackDown Women’s Champion – in late 2016. She was one of the company’s most successful wrestlers in 2017 and 2018, and while she took more of a backseat from the main title pictures in 2019, she has still shined brightly in her storyline with Nikki Cross.

There’s no doubt that WWE value Bliss highly. They know she moves the meter and can connect will with the audience in any role, including as WrestleMania host earlier this year.

Per PWInsider.com’s Mike Johnson, Bliss is expected to be the host of WWE’s third podcast on their Endeavor platform. Johnson reports that Bliss will be recording her pilot episode “in the next few weeks”.

WWE currently has podcasts with The New Day called “Feel The Power” and Corey Graves called “After The Bell”. Both of these podcasts have been well-received, with plenty of soundbite and great insight.

Bliss’ podcast should also be a huge success, and it’s great to see that WWE wants to launch podcasts with women front and center. Hopefully, there will be more podcasts that spotlight women in wrestling, including legends of the past.

As for Bliss, she is still working side by side with Nikki Cross in a wildly successful pairing that has brought the best out of both characters. She’s been a fantastic babyface in 2019, even winning the Women’s Tag Team Titles with Cross.

Bliss looks poised for another big 2020, and this podcast will be a great platform for her to talk about wrestling, life, and everything in between. Since WWE is early into its process of launching official podcasts, it will be worth seeing if they end up having specific themes to these podcasts around personalties. But it says a lot about the trust the company – Vince McMahon, in particular, since he is known to be fond of The New Day and Graves – has in Bliss that she’s one of the first to have a podcast.
