Kevin Owens Promo

Kevin Owens shows clips of Seth Rollins and Authors of Pain beating down Kevin Owens, Rey Mysterio, and Samoa Joe. Owens then conveys how he was especially distraught at Mysterio being disrespected and thinks that the attacks had something to do with Mysterio losing his United States Championship to Andrade last week.

Rollins then comes out to orate that AOP will impose his will onto Owens. Owens chases AOP outside the ring and Owens gets outnumbered by AOP inside the ring. Samoa Joe races out to the ring to help Owens. He delivers shoulder blocks and STJoes to Akam and Rezar and locks Rollins in the Coquina Clutch.

AOP run in to help Rollins, but Owens runs in with a steel chair to fend off AOP. Security runs into the ring to break things up. Owens goes on the top rope and delivers a senton bond to all of the security outside the ring.

Result: Chaos ensues

Grade: 2.5/5.0 Stars

Analysis: This demolition derby was a fun start to the show and was a great way to bring Samoa Joe back. It is quite surprising that Mysterio did not get involved, however. There is then a backstage segment where Kevin Owens states that he is glad Samoa Joe came to help him since he is truly one of the baddest in the Raw locker room. The security then escort Joe and Owens out of the building.
