WWE: Should Booker T manage The Street Profits?
Booker T said he wants to manage The Street Profits, one of WWE’s most charismatic tag teams on the roster. Should they let him?
Last night served as both the New Years Eve edition of and the final episode of 2019 for WWE Backstage. Anyone who has been watching the FOX news show over the course of the year may have noticed that one of the more consistent highlights of the show has been Hall of Famer Booker T’s role as an onscreen news analyst.
Not only has Booker been able to bring his limitless loads of charm to the show, but the former five time, five time, five time, five time, (wait for it) FIVE TIME WCW World Heavyweight Champion has managed to get the wrestling world buzzing with some interesting comments he makes on most shows.
Last night was no different, but this time, his comments took an extremely interesting turn as he raved about the WWE’s tag team division going into 2020. Namely, when he brought up The Street Profits and how he “might even manage The Street Profits somewhere along the year.” (h/t WrestleZone).
While these comments may read as if they came out of left field, they aren’t as random as they may appear on the surface. This isn’t even the first time that Booker has expressed wanting to manage the former NXT Tag Team Champions, having expressed so as recently as three months ago on his podcast.
Booker has always been a fan of and openly praised both members of The Street Profits ever since they first debuted on Raw during the summer. But the question is should he manage them?
What do you think? Given The Street Profits already impressive talking skill, do they need a third talker by their side? Do you think Booker T could help or hurt their act? Simply put, is this a trio you’d like to see full time on WWE TV?
