The first WWE Raw of 2020 is set to take place on January 6 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT live on the USA Network. The following will preview and predict the major matches and segments that will occur on the longest weekly running episodic television show in history.

On next week’s episode of WWE Raw, there are two scheduled championship matches: (1) Viking Raiders (c) vs. The O.C. vs. The Street Profits in a triple threat Raw Tag Team Championship match, and (2) Andrade (c) vs. Rey Mysterio in a United States Championship match. Thanks to the talent they entail, these championship matches should be very exciting to watch and start the year of 2020 off on the right foot.

In terms of segments, WWE Champion Brock Lesnar will make his return to the very first Raw episode of 2020 to address his Royal Rumble 2020 status as well as the next challenger for his WWE Championship. As for Royal Rumble 2020 itself, the following matches have been announced thus far: (1) Becky Lynch (c) vs. Asuka for the Raw Women’s Championship, and (2) Bray Wyatt (c) vs. Daniel Bryan for the Universal Championship.

With WWE Royal Rumble 2020 coming up on January 26, there are many more matches to build up towards, especially the WWE Championship match. With that being said, it’s now time to preview and predict the very first WWE Raw of 2020, starting with the triple threat Raw Tag Team Championship match amongst Viking Raiders, O.C., and Street Profits.
