WWE Raw Results, Highlights, and Grades: January 13, 2020

The second WWE Raw of 2020 is set to take place tonight on January 13 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT live on the USA Network. Here are some results, highlights, and grades for the longest running weekly episodic television show in history.

On tonight’s episode of WWE Raw, there are four scheduled matches: (1) Randy Orton vs. AJ Styles, (2) Aleister Black vs. Buddy Murphy, (3) Rusev vs. Bobby Lashley and (4) Seth Rollins and Authors of Pain vs. Kevin Owens, Samoa Joe, and Big Show in the first ever fist fight. These matches are representative of the rivalries taking place on Raw each week, so it will be interesting to see who comes out on top in these bouts.

In terms of segments, the WWE Champion Brock Lesnar will be present and Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and number one contender Asuka will have a contract signing for their Raw Women’s Championship match at WWE Royal Rumble 2020. Brock Lesnar announced his entry into the Royal Rumble last week so it will be interesting to see what he has in store for this week. Maybe Lesnar had a New Years Resolution and decided to actually show up for every Raw of 2020 (haha, I hope I don’t jinx that). Meanwhile, Becky Lynch sucker punched Asuka straight in the jaw last week on Raw, so we’ll see if there’s anymore where that came from in tonight’s contract signing.

With WWE Royal Rumble 2020 coming up in January, there are many matches to build up towards. With that being said, it’s now time to bleed red and plunge into a slew of surprises for WWE Raw, starting with Randy Orton vs. AJ Styles.
