Rusev vs. Bobby Lashley (w/Lana) [Grudge Match]
Bobby Lashley and Lana enter the ring to get ready for the scheduled match against Rusev. Rusev arrives to the ring, ready to go to war. Liv Morgan did say she would be at Rusev’s corner for this match but she is nowhere to be seen…. yet. Rusev and Lashley start off with some ground based offense. Rusev delivers a flurry of punches to Lashley in the corner and a huge clothesline to start his momentum.
He has his game face on and delivers a Snap Suplex to Lashley. He delivers another Suplex to Lashley, continuing the pain. He then delivers a Cannonball to Lashley in the corner for the two-count. Lashley gets a breather on the outside and delivers a clothesline to Rusev outside the ring. As Rusev gets up outside the ring, Lashley rolls out of the ring to deliver a powerful Spear as the show goes to commercial break.
Back from commercial, Lashley is in control with a tight chin lock on Rusev. He then locks Rusev’s legs around the steel post and slams his knee into the post. Rusev tries to fight back but Lashley powers him down. Lashley sprints at Rusev in the corner but Rusev sidesteps Lashley and Lashley runs shoulder first into the steel post.
Rusev rallies with two clotheslines and a Fallaway Slam. He then delivers a Belly to Belly Suplex. Rusev looks for the Matcka Kick. Lashley counters with a German Suplex but Rusev miraculously lands on his feet and delivers a Matchka Kick. He then attempts the Accolade but Lana comes on the apron to distract Rusev. Rusev and Lashley then run into a double clothesline.
Liv Morgan runs out to fend off Lana. Lana gets a drink from the crowd and sends it in the face of Lana. As she slams Morgan into the barricade wall, Lashley decisively spears Rusev for the three-count and the victory.

Result: Bobby Lashley
Grade: 2.5/5.0 Stars
Analysis: The slow burn to Rusev’s eventual victory continues. Really thought Liv Morgan would help Rusev win here, but that did not seem to be the case. Looks like this storyline really is stretching to a mixed tag team match at WrestleMania 36. The camera then shifts to Bobby Lashley and Lana talking about Rusev and Liv Morgan. Lana annoyingly talks about how Liv Morgan is obsessed with her. She is a fashionista and wants a mixed tag team match with Bobby Lashley against Rusev and Liv Morgan next week. Looks I jinxed something else tonight because that Mania-worthy mixed tag match is now scheduled for next week’s Raw.
