WWE Royal Rumble 2020 will take place on Jan. 26 at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT live on the WWE Network with the kickoff show beginning at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT. The following will address full match card predictions almost two weeks away from a PPV that kickstarts the road to WrestleMania 36.

Who will main event WrestleMania? WWE Royal Rumble 2020 will hopefully give the WWE Universe the answer to that question as we approach that PPV in two weeks. The build to this PPV is ‘different’ to past years, and the difference could be seen both negatively and positively.

From a negative standpoint, this build is so shambolic that no one seems like an absolute threat to the main card men’s and women’s champions. Henceforth, no one seems like a prime candidate to win the Royal Rumble that would warrant them a main event match at WrestleMania 36.

From a positive standpoint, such a build could leave room for pleasant surprises that will not only shock the WWE Universe but also put smiles on their faces. Shocking returns from superstars like CM Punk, Edge, AJ Lee, Ronda Rousey, and even Koko B. Ware could uplift the hearts of the WWE fans and keep their minds open for ethereal possibilities on the road to WrestleMania 36.

With that being said, it’s time to plunge into a plenitude of surprises for WWE’s very first main roster PPV of 2020. Let’s now predict the full WWE Royal Rumble 2020 card, starting with a Raw Tag Team Championship match between Viking Raiders and Authors of Pain as well as a SmackDown Tag Team Championship match between The New Day and The Dirt Sheet.
