WWE Royal Rumble 2020 early match card predictions

30-Women’s Royal Rumble Match [Over The Top Rope Battle Royal]
The Women’s Royal Rumble entrants thus far are: (1) Charlotte Flair, (2) Alexa Bliss, and (3) Nikki Cross. With only three entrants officially in the Women’s Rumble Match, it is more difficult to pick out a winner.
However, there is a clear betting favorite who would make the most sense to win the Rumble, and she is the Queen of Spades and former NXT Women’s Champion from NXT: Shayna Baszler. When she battled Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley at WWE Survivor Series, she won the match by making Bayley tap out with the Kirifuda Clutch.
After the match, she delivered an unforgiving assault to Becky Lynch and seems to still have unfinished business with her. Now that Baszler has finally dropped the NXT Women’s Championship for the second time in her NXT career and passed the torch to Rhea Ripley, Baszler is now free to debut on the main roster and her ideal gateway towards the main roster is by winning the Royal Rumble and challenging Becky Lynch for the Raw Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 36.
Prediction: Shayna Baszler
30-Men’s Royal Rumble Match [[Over The Top Rope Battle Royal]
The Men’s Royal Rumble entrants thus far are: (1) Roman Reigns, (2) Brock Lesnar, (3) Drew McIntyre, (4) Randy Orton, (5) AJ Styles, (6) Rey Mysterio, (7) Ricochet, (8) King Corbin, (9) Erick Rowan, (10) Dolph Ziggler, (11) Elias, (12) Rusev, (13) Bobby Lashley, (14) Buddy Murphy, (15) Aleister Black, and (16) Otis and Tucker from Heavy Machinery. With seventeen entrants already officially entered in the Men’s Rumble Match, it is easier to pick out a winner.
The answer is: Brock Lesnar! He won the Rumble 17 years ago and could very well win it this year. Many naysayers may assert that Lesnar solely entered the Rumble to set up his WWE Championship match for WrestleMania 36. In other words, the superstar who eliminates him would be his Mania opponent (i.e. Drew McIntyre).
However, it would feel forced for anyone to win the Rumble and challenge Lesnar for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 36 after eliminating him. Besides, the WWE Elimination Chamber PPV is in February and the WWE could easily decide a number one contender for the WWE Championship inside the chamber and give the contender time to build himself up into a main event star before battling Lesnar at WrestleMania 36.
As 2020 approached, no one seemed like a clear opponent for Lesnar because no one on Raw seemed deserving. Most WWE superstars on Raw are booked like mid card superstars rather than main card superstars. Henceforth, albeit an unpopular opinion, Lesnar should win the Royal Rumble this year.
If anyone thinks Lesnar is actually going to work the entire royal rumble from #1, they’re in for a surprise. Mid way through the Rumble, someone tosses Brock through the ‘middle’ rope and crashes him through the announce table.
They put Lesnar on a stretcher and take him to the back to get checked on my medics. When the end of the rumble is near, Brock will come back since he was never eliminated and win the Rumble. Eat. Sleep. Rumble. Repeat.
Prediction: Brock Lesnar
