WWE superstar Naomi made her highly-anticipated return to the ring at the 2020 Royal Rumble, and she also made a fantastic self-save late in the match.

Naomi is a two-time SmackDown Women’s Champion and a living legend in WWE, so when she returned to Minute Maid Park for an “Amazing” Royal Rumble appearance, the crowd in Houston cheered like crazy.

It didn’t take long for “The Glow” to make an impact on an incredible Rumble match. After Charlotte Flair joined Bianca Belair, who broke the record for most eliminations in a single Women’s Rumble match, Naomi added to the awesomeness. And when Beth Phoenix joined the fray, WWE fans got to see four the best wrestlers of the best, present, and future go at it.

But Naomi didn’t have her show-stealing moment until later in the match, completing a trademark Royal Rumble save!

The current WWE Raw superstar was on the verge of being eliminated in the corner of the ring near the announce table, but she quickly ran across the steel steps, leapt into the barricade, and kept her feet essentially glued into the wall.

Naomi used every bit of her strength to jump up to the top of the barricade, and she then jumped onto the announce table.

She spent a good several minutes on top of the table, surveying the scene before picking her moment.

And she decided to enter the match when Shayna Baszler was cleaning house as the No. 30 entrant!

Naomi cleverly built a bridge into the ring, joining the match after Baszler had already eliminated six wrestlers in a matter of minutes. With how fast time went, it might as well have been seconds.

Of course, Shayna picked up her seventh elimination, nearly tying Bianca’s eight in a matter of moments, as she was the one who eliminated Naomi.

It sucked to see Naomi leave the match, but everyone expected Shayna to eliminate her. After all, Shayna headed into the match as the clear favorite to win the Royal Rumble. (Note: She did not, in fact, win it.)

Next. Liv Morgan and Lana furthered their feud in the Rumble. dark

So it was great to get a return from Naomi, an awesome spot from her, and a decent enough run of minutes inside the Rumble. She’s one of the best in the business.
