A day removed from the Royal Rumble, let’s take a grab at predicting WWE Elimination Chamber as we kick into full gear on the road to WrestleMania.

Last night saw us witness the 33rd annual Royal Rumble. Between several twists, turns and huge moments, the Pay-Per-View ultimately set the stage for the road to WrestleMania. But of course, WWE has to make a pit stop first at the midway point. That pit stop is the company’s next PPV, WWE Elimination Chamber.

Well, technically, WWE Elimination Chamber will be the next next PPV (or the NEXT next next PPV, if we are counting NXT TakeOver: Portland as a PPV) because it takes place in March, where as the next PPV in February will be WWE’s Saudi Arabia show, Super Showdown. Which, let’s be real, no one wants to watch that.

No one ever watches these Saudi Arabia shows outside of those within the country. Either because most Americans seem turned off by certain politics in the background of these shows, or simply because none of these shows have been any good since WWE started running them in 2018.

These are bonafide, glorified house shows and outside of the oddball fantastical moment here and there (i.e. The Fiend winning the Universal Championship), WWE treats these shows like bonafide house shows. So like most of the world already does when these shows air, let’s skip predicting anything for these Supershows, shall we?

What should not be skipped, however, is Elimination Chamber, which will serve as WWE’s final stop on the docket before WrestleMania weekend. It’s a PPV that finalizes the biggest matches on the show and intensifies feuds and storylines heading into them.

Royal Rumble not only paints a decent picture for what to expect at WrestleMania, but what to expect at the Elimination Chamber PPV.
