WWE Raw Predictions: Becky Lynch Bites Back On Shayna Baszler
By Mark Justice
WWE Raw is set to take place on February 17, 2020 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT live on the USA Network. The following will preview and predict the major matches and segments that will occur on the longest weekly running episodic television show in history.
On this week’s episode of WWE Raw, there are two officially scheduled matches: (1) Matt Hardy vs. Randy Orton, and (2) Rusev and Humberto Carillo vs. Bobby Lashley and Angel Garza. Thanks to the talent they entail, these matches should be quite compelling to watch on the road to WWE WrestleMania 36.
As for WWE Super ShowDown 2020 itself, the following matches have been officially announced on WWE’s official website: (1) Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Ricochet for the WWE Championship, (2) Bray Wyatt (c) vs. Goldberg for the Universal Championship, (3) Roman Reigns vs. King Corbin in a Steel Cage Match, (4) The New Day (c) vs. John Morrison and The Miz for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships, and (5) Andrade vs. AJ Styles vs. Erick Rowan vs. R-Truth vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Rusev in the first-ever Tuwaiq Trophy Gauntlet Match. With only two matches from Raw booked thus far on the card, there is bound to be more matches booked for the event on this episode, especially some mid card matches (e.g. Humberto Carillo vs. Angel Garza) and throwback matches (e.g. Randy Orton vs. Christian).
As usual, Aleister Black, Drew McIntyre, and Erick Rowan will tear up the Raw locker room while 2020 Royal Rumble Winner, Charlotte Flair, will continue to stall the selection of her opponent for WWE WrestleMania 36. However, the implications from Shayna Baszler’s malignant vampire bite on Becky Lynch, MVP’s failed attempt to recruit McIntyre and advocate for him, and Seth Rollins‘ upcoming sermon after a solid eight man tag team victory last week are worth discussing.
With that being said, it’s now time to preview and predict this week’s WWE Raw, starting with MVP recruiting another superstar who has an upcoming match with Brock Lesnar, the one and only Ricochet.
