Now that NXT TakeOver: Portland is behind us, WWE’s last stop for the brand on the road to WrestleMania is taking over Tampa the night before.

Last night, as they have done for the past six years of TakeOver events, NXT tore the house down. TakeOver: Portland was no exception as some of the best WWE Superstars stood out in time for WrestleMania.

But as has been the case for the past few years now, we have an NXT TakeOver show to look forward to the night before Mania. With that in mind, let’s take some time to predict which matches could take place, starting with a title match between a breakout star and a former Universal Champion.

Keith Lee (c) vs. Finn Balor  – NXT North American Championship

Keith Lee arguably had the match of the night when he successfully defended his North American Championship against Dominik Dijakovic. The same can be said for Finn Balor, who had his own highly praised contest against Mr. TakeOver himself, Johnny Gargano. With Balor racking up big win after big win, it would not be hard to imagine the character wanting some gold around his waist.

He already struck out in his attempt to snatch gold from Adam Cole’s waist a few months back, but there is no reason why he can’t challenge Keith Lee for his North American Championship. Especially since the whole reason Balor got that title shot in late 2019 was because he pinned Keith Lee in a number one contender’s match.

Still holding that win over The Limitless One’s head, Balor has a legit argument as to why he deserves a shot, while Lee may want to avenge that loss by winning a rematch at TakeOver: Tampa Bay.
